Google Maps will take you to the correct location. Ignore the sign near the Dunkin along RT 28 in Derry. This restaurant is located at the Derry Meadows SHOPPES. Similar to other La Carreta restaurants but there is something unique about the interior that I cannot put my finger on. I liked the setup and it caught my attention right away. Very friendly service! I was given the La Carreta complimentary chips and salsa immediately. I ordered Special Lunch # 8, burrito with a tostada and Mexican rice . It was good and I was surprised that I was able to finish such a lot of food! The same with Special Lunch #5! WiFi available. Quiet music played. If you are a fan of La Carreta or Mexican food , I recommend a visit!

My husband and I recently moved to Derry from the Bangor, Maine area. This was hands down the best Mexican restaurant we have been to. Very friendly staff, the inside is very well decorated and beautiful and food was delicious!! We shared the quesabirria and the chicken chimichangas, both were fantastic!

The Chile Verde is a standout, featuring tender pork simmered in a flavorful green sauce, served with rice, beans, and warm tortillas. The Chori Pollo is another excellent choice, my new favorite, combining a juicy grilled chicken breast topped with chorizo and melted cheese, accompanied by traditional sides. For drinks, the Coco Loco Mojito offers a refreshing coconut twist on the classic mojito, perfect for a tropical vibe. The Coronarita, a fun mix of margarita and Corona beer, is an adventurous and refreshing option. With its warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food and beverages, La Carreta is a must-visit for a delightful Mexican dining experience.

Omg! This place is great! I recomend you come out of your way just to try this place that's how good it is! Service & food is great. Family friendly. I was immediately given these tortilla chips which salsa. Then I ordered Steak Fajitas and it was delicious! It was such a huge portion I could have shared it with two other ppl. I love this little authentic Mexican restaurant!

Been here a bunch of times. Food is always great and service is decent. Was happy to see they added new things to the menu over the pandemic. Their fish fajitas is my go to now. I tried their salted caramel wings they had as a special and it was to die for. I think it should be a permanent menu option! Love their jalapeno marg also! Chips are always warm and fresh!
